LIMMERICK I
Stable
Name “Bud“
A 1993 bay, with a full blaze and socks, “Bud” was a Premium
Holsteiner (AHHA) foal of 1993. From
birth he was a fabulous athlete. He was somewhat infamous for jumping out of our
paddocks, all over 5 feet high, even while at his mother’s side.
He had a great disposition and was easy to rides.
His gaits were top level dressage quality and his natural jumping ability
can be seen from the photo above taken at age three.
He could already jump the top of the standards (note that the side rails
on the fence in the picture is about 6 feet tall.
He passes his athleticism and his disposition on to his babies.
As seen in his pedigree below, he combines the best of the L, C, and F
Holsteiner lines, lines that have led world wide ratings in both jumping and
dressage.

FOGATA
A
16:3h bay Premium Holsteiner Foal and Mare herself (Southwestern Regional
Champion Holsteiner Mare-1989), she has produced a Premium Foal, being the dam
of our Stallion Limmerick I. You
can see Fogata’s Pedigree within the one of Limmerick I under Sires. She is a
wonderful jumper, and all her foals are natural jumpers (see the picture of her
son, Limmerick I, free jumping).
Fogata
also produces great movement, evidenced by the fact that one of her daughters
received an extremely rare “9” rating on gaits at the AHHA testing in 1996.
Her full sister, Cinzia, was the Southwestern Dressage Champion at both
level one and level two.
She
has great disposition and looks, and even gives an easy ride in the hunt field.
You can also see her picture in The
Warmblood Guidebook , as the chosen example of a Holsteiner mare in the
Holsteiner Section and also in Horse Play magazine, Oct. 1991,
page
22.
